DuPuis Nature Center


FAU's Center for Environmental Studies manages the Environmental Education Programs at the DuPuis Nature Center. Included programs are Student Field Studies, Service-Learning, Student Research and Summer Camp. Students learn about Florida's native flora and fauna as they explore the pine flatwoods and cypress swamp. Student programs are through enrolled groups only. During winter, the Nature Center hosts the Annual Astronomy Night for all general public. The DuPuis Management Area property is open to the general public for various recreational activities such as hiking, biking, horse-back riding, camping, fishing, hunting and Nature Center.
