At Jacksonville Children's Commission, we work to create viable solutions for families and kids within the community. We do our part to make sure kids have the support they need to thrive. Our organization provides summer lunch, kindergarten participation, after school care and many more services to make certain that children have assistance they need. Our mission is to support families and their effort to maximize their children's potential to be healthy, safe, educated and contributing members of the community.
The Nassau County 4-H Youth Development program create supportive environments for diverse youth to reach their fullest potential. Through hands-on activities, Nassau County 4-H provides youth the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop life skills that will lead them to be responsible citizens. 4-H focuses on many program areas including environmental science, agricultural, leadership, S.T.E.M., and community service.
The Y is a cause-driven charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We make sure that everyone, no matter their age, gender, race or ability, is welcomed as part of the YMCA family. Our summer camps encourage an outdoor
experiences from fishing to archery.
The GTM Research Reserve is a collaboration between Florida's Department of Environmental Protection and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The Reserve covers74,000 acres of coastal lands in northeast Florida and offers interpretive exhibits, aquariums, classrooms, teaching and working laboratories, an auditorium and an outdoor amphitheater overlooking the Guana River Aquatic Preserve. Our Coastal Training Program offers trainings for professionals on issues of concern in our local community including watershed, invasive plants, and much more.
We conduct a mobilized outreach program. We offer classroom instruction at a Church or organization location and then take children to a local park/lake to conduct water activities, hiking, etc. Archery lessons take place at the organization site. It is our desire to provide children with fun outdoor activities that will allow them to unplug, relax, and explore God's Creation.

By mobilizing, inspiring, and resourcing mentors, Royal Rangers offers character and servant leadership education to boys and young men (K-12) in a highly relational, fun, and interactive environment. Royal Rangers exists to "evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christ-like men and lifelong servant leaders." This is our passion!
The Let's Move! Outside Initiative strives to bring together youth-serving and outdoor focused organizations to continue Tampa's community wide effort to engage youth and adults in outdoor appreciation through service.
The mission of The Center is to serve as a gathering place for the community to come together and make friends. The Center strives for excellence in meeting the human service needs of all those living on or nearby our barrier island. The Center is focused on the community and open to all.
The City of Clewiston Recreation Department hosts a "Beginning" Fish Camp and an "Advanced" Fish Camp over the summer months. The Fish Camp is open to youth from 9-15 years old. Fish Camp lasts 5 days and includes basic skills such as; equipment nomenclature, line selection, knots, casting instruction with push button and spinning reels, lure selection, ecology, fish biology, boat & water safety and stewardship of the environment. Instructors are local fishing guides, local marina owners, fishing club members and recreation staff.
