Life Sports Fitness is a tax-exempt organization that delivers high quality, fun, educational fitness programs for children. We provide school-age children with out-of-school-time (OST) youth development options in year-round programs teaching life skills and core values via sports, fitness and positive mentorship. We pride ourselves in our ability to teach, motivate and inspire children by unleashing their potential.
At the Y, we don't just teach swimming lessons or coach soccer. We're about youth development: ensuring that the children and teens in our programs reach their full potential by helping them grow - physically, mentally and socially - from young children into engaged, active members of their communities. Here at the Y, our programs are focused on implementing activities that are going to teach youth and enable them to be successful in the real world.
Our mission is to introduce and educate children about their outdoor environment, nature, wildlife, and neighborhoods (greens spaces, beaches, preserves). To offer children and families opportunities to get outside and appreciate what is in their "backyards."
